Bryce and I undertook the mission of making a cookie cake for Daddy from scratch. I'd never tried making cookie dough and icing before - but they turned out really yummy! We used the leftover dough and icing to making Double Doozie cookies! As Bryce says, "We're master chefs!" Ok...not really, but we tried and the important thing is that Heath enjoyed them!!
Of course, Bryce had to pick out some presents for Daddy all by himself. Daddy's loot from Bryce included: a pink flyswatter with a huge tacky pink flower on it, a weird sticky frog, some MacGyver sunglasses, a box of Nerds, and 2 monster waterguns (Bryce insisted they needed 2 so they could have a water battle). Great present, huh? Hehe :) I think Daddy really enjoyed it though (especially the water gun, because he sneak attacks me every day!!).
Heath's mom also celebrated her b-day on June 9. June is definitely the birthday month for our family...can you tell?!? We had a good time at her house for a b-day get-together. Bryce entertained us all with songs and his other random craziness. Then, Papa John and Bryce really livened the party up by squirting Nana (Ruth Ann) in the face with the water hose! Oh dear...what are we going to do with those boys?
